Professional, expert, patient oriented, all the bells and whistles supporting technology, and dedicated to precise vision Rx. Most thorough and comprehensive optometry eye exam that I have had in the past twenty years at the cost of a regular exam. The front receptionist and the doctor's assistant are both very capable, professional, and quality people. The doctor, Shane Hager, is the best - full stop. Kudos to Tacoma Family Eyecare in Costco, Tacoma.

Been going to get my eyes checked for years at the clinic. Each time it has been easy to get in quickly, get checked, happy with my visit. I usually get in there when I realize I am on my last set of contact lenses. The doc I see usually will give me some complimentary trials to hold me over until my order with Costco comes in. Great service each and every time. :-)

Tacoma Family Eyecare is located in the optical section of the Tacoma Costco (37th Street). They have appointment booking capability from their website, however, I was already at Costco when I decided to pop in to make a new patient appointment. They were able to get me in within the same week!The receptionist was helpful and friendly, with the ability to answer my questions regarding insurance and what the eye exam entailed. I opted for an appointment that would give me both my glasses and contact prescription.
