“Our daughter has a genetic disorder that affects her gross motor skills. When we started with her therapist, Becky at First Steps our daughter was 15 months old and was just starting to scoot and was unable to climb up a surface level change of even a few inches. Within weeks of our first appointment she began to slowly attempt climbing on different levels and over a few months gained enough strength to stand on her own. We eventually added in aquatic therapy sessions with Kristin, which were equally amazing. By 21 months old she took her first steps and is now running around chasing her older sister. We didn’t think she would be anywhere near walking by 2 and she hasn’t even had her second birthday yet l. We are in awe of her fast progress and are forever grateful for Becky and Kristen and the entire first steps team for the time they took with our daughter to get to know her and her needs and how they encouraged her and us along the way. First Steps is an unbelievably positive place to be and I can not recommend them enough.“
