Kylie is a true blonding and color correction expert. She was able to get my thick, belly-button length hair to a gorgeous, healthy, perfectly toned bright blonde that no one else I’ve been to could achieve.. including high-end salons in both Los Angeles and Seattle!

To put this into context, my hair had previously been damaged, colored, and over-processed by “experts” who promised results they couldn’t deliver. Kylie approached my hair with precision, patience, and an extraordinary level of technical knowledge. She lightened in controlled sections rather than bleaching my entire scalp at once, rinsing strategically to avoid over-processing. She safely addressed stubborn sections that didn’t lift evenly the first time, and carefully wove out previously over-processed highlights to prevent breakage.. something that could have easily gone wrong in less experienced hands.

I genuinely don’t have words for the level of respect I have for her expertise. The way she works is masterful, thoughtful, and grounded in integrity. You can truly feel that you are in the hands of someone who deeply understands hair at a high level.

The shop itself is small and cozy, and Kojak was super friendly and attentive. “Old style place, lively conversations while I was there (random stuff, like one guy was fixing his boat, and someone else was enthusiastically talking about the area museums with discounts for retirees that he goes to). Haircut was fine, although I just needed a trim. I did see folks who needed fancier cuts, and Chris did a good job. You can’t reserve online… At this place you drop by, sign up for a time, then come back at the time you agreed on. There are coffee places really nearby if you have to wait.“
