Jon and his team had already worked to construct a covered area for my parent’s house and when we loved it and wanted to do something similar he was able to execute on that vision and make it unique so much so that it looks like it was originally part of the house with the same attention to detail for the architecture of our house. Jon is extremely busy so we feel fortunate we were able to get fit into his schedule.

He and his team (Anthony and Joshua) are so thoughtful with their attention to detail and he was able to not only complete the project on time but also within budget. (We did get a competitive quote with a different option which aesthetically not as beautiful as what he and his team constructed nor similar to our house style but for the same budget). He has an eye for how things are supposed to fit together and complement each other from the beams and some being painted and finished with trim , to demoing out concrete we had and then putting in new one giving driveway space to back, to how he laid the decking (with a border), and suggestions for covering underneath.

As a family we are so grateful for this space that he created adding so much joy for us and our pets—we wish we had done this sooner! If we have another major project we undertake we now know who to call.“

“We should have hired GAB first. Learn from our mistake.

We originally hired another contractor because his bid was about $700 lower and he came recommended by others in the community. GAB was one of four companies we received estimates from using Thumbtack. The other bids were either far too expensive or didn’t propose an approach that made sense for our project.

For context, our home was built in 1998 and had never been painted. Years of neglect left one weathered section on the back with failing T1-11 siding that needed attention before painting. Alex’s recommendation was exactly what we wanted, which was to replace only the damaged bottom section, keep the solid upper T1-11 as structural sheathing, wrap the entire wall, and install HardiePlank over everything. Replacing all of the T1-11 would have added unnecessary cost without providing any real benefit.

Unfortunately, the first contractor turned what should have been a straightforward project into a nightmare. He tried to hide poor workmanship behind caulk and paint, leaving improperly sized boards, gaps between planks, and easily the worst caulking I’ve ever seen. We ended up tearing everything off and starting over.

Alex and his crew were the complete opposite. Their workmanship was outstanding, and the photos speak for themselves. Alex accidentally disconnected our hose bib during the project, but he told us immediately, fixed it right away, and made sure everything worked before leaving. That level of honesty and accountability goes a long way.

They completed the entire project in a single day, exactly as promised. Olga was fantastic to work with throughout the process. She handled scheduling, pricing, and every question we had with quick, clear communication and kept everything organized from start to finish.

The finished product exceeded our expectations, and now we’re finally ready for painting. If you’re looking for a siding contractor who cares about doing the job right the first time, I highly recommend GAB.“

“I've known Alex, the owner of Pro Build Construction, for almost a year now, and he has already worked on three of my gyms. Alex is super reliable and always available for a call. He takes personal pride in each project and ensures they stick to the timeline.

One of the major renovations we did was at one of my 7500 sqft gyms, involving flooring, paint, lights, etc. Alex said we would only need to close the business for one week, and he stuck to the timeline. They're easily reachable for any repairs or maintenance issues. Alex goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are fully taken care of.“
