“We are so incredibly grateful for the compassion and care the Horse Heaven hills urgent care veterinary team showed our family during one of the hardest days we’ve ever experienced. Our 12-year-old daughter was struggling deeply with having to say goodbye to her beloved 8-year-old rabbit, Ben.<br><br>The entire staff was so thorough, patient, and incredibly caring throughout the process. They treated Ben with such kindness and treated our daughter with so much compassion and understanding. You could genuinely tell that they cared—not only about Ben, but about the heartbreak our daughter was experiencing.<br><br>One of the most meaningful things they did was take Ben’s little footprint and save some of his fur for her to keep. Those small gestures meant so much to her and gave her something tangible to hold onto and remember him by.<br><br>Saying goodbye is never easy, especially for a child who loves her pet so deeply, but the kindness and compassion shown to us made an incredibly painful day a little easier.
