“What an amazing find this was on San Juan Island in Friday Harbor. I was too busy while wrapping up business and getting my boat ready for my annual trip to Roche Harbor for the 4th of July to squeeze in a haircut and decided to find a "local" salon in Friday Harbor instead. I looked on Yelp and contacted a couple of salons and then decided to jump on the shuttle and make the 20 minute trip into town. I walked by Local and walked into an incredibly charming and cool salon and Connie was sitting behind the desk and after I asked about getting a walk in haircut she warmly whisked me in, sat me in her chair and gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. Connie is amazing, the shop is a stones throw from the center of town, great music and space. If anyone is looking for the best haircut in San Juan Island look no further than Connie at Local!“

“Love Annette. She does great haircuts and skin care. The Electric Desiccation removed skin-tag and red spots and after second treatment my broken capillary. She also does waxing. Great products. Very knowledgeable and lovely salon. Go see her for all your skincare needs and haircut She did a great job cutting my my husbands hair as well“
