My bridesmaids and I loved having our hair styled by Chelsea on my wedding day! She did a fantastic job with all of our different styles (my hair has seriously never looked better) and was so incredibly kind. I came in the day before my sister’s wedding desperate for a spray tan for my pale winter skin after my first spray tan option didn’t work out. Chelsea was amazing and went out of her way to squeeze me in that same day. The tan looked amazing and natural. This place goes above and beyond with their customer service, thank you so much! They also have some beautiful jewelry for anyone looking for some last minute accessories.

Island Roots Salon sits on the corner of Blair and Spring Street in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. It is walking distance from the ferry and in my professional opinion, Island Roots is hands down the best full service salon not just in Friday Harbor but in the entire San Juan Islands.Chelsea Foussard, a local islander, created and built this gem of a salon from the ground up.
