In my case, if you can't avoid an awkward structural support post in the kitchen, Karl suggested making it stainless steel and plunging it through the kitchen counter to match the mid-century inspired design! Because of the money I lost, I had to scale back the work from deck and porch replacement to deck and porch repair/refurbish. This type of work requires good communication with the contractor to identify exactly what needs repair and what doesn't. Dmitriy from Green Line Construction understood exactly what I wanted to do and his communication with me was excellent. “Outstanding work done by Anthony and his team. We had an existing 10x10 exposed concrete patio we added onto. Anthony was responsive and great about sharing ideas. Cost was very reasonable. There was a small delay from the concrete supplier, which the team kept us up to date on, and were great about communicating timelines. Exactly what you want out of a good contractor.
