Our deck turned out absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is impeccable. I would recommend Andy and his wonderful crew (Tim and Matt) to anyone that needs a beautiful, top quality, well-built deck. Everything about the experience was fantastic. During the process of accepting his bid I changed my mind a few times on some of the details and he was very patient and pleasant about all of my questions and changes. He is very easy to talk to and work with.
From our first meeting when Andy came out to do the estimate I was so impressed with his obvious knowledge of deck construction and he explained all of the different aspects of choosing decking materials. We ended up going with Azek decking with Timber Tech composite railing with matching Azek drink rail for the top rail and it is just gorgeous! I couldn't be more pleased with it. I added pictures on my Google and Yelp reviews, but didn't see a way to do so here.
After we get our backyard overhauled and in good shape I plan to have them do a new fence. There's no reason to look anywhere else for a deck or fence. Heilman Deck and Fence do a great job and are a pleasure to work with.

I had Heilman Deck and Fence come out and install a new fence for me. From the beginning, they were upfront and clear about pricing and what to expect, as well as what options were available and what they recommended. I never felt upsold or pressured to go with them. When it came time for the installation, there was a slight delay due to some car troubles, but they were very clear and open about it and kept me in the know. When they finished, and I realized that we had missed one panel of the fence, they were super quick to respond, update the cost and someone was out to fix it within days.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with their work. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
