“Great company. Great people. House is a vacation home but built better than my primary. Gave 4 stars as there was some miscommunication on window choice between design and permitting (sent off to permitting before or without adjusting a set of windows). They’ve upped their capacity and build volume so there was a fairly strong push to get documents to permitting. As the window adjustment was noticed after submission to the county, the onus was put back me to pay for a resubmission or accept the default windows. I accepted the default windows to not be charged again or delay their production timelines. I really wish I hadn’t, as the default windows are 2 ft from the floor (didn’t know this as there is no vertical diagram that I could find showing them relative to the wall). Appreciate the large windows but they won’t accommodate a couch without covering the windows. I’d suggest 1) Preproduction type sign off before submission to the county, 2) Model F living standard windows in the living room be 30-36 inches off the floor so a couch can be used along the short wall without blocking part of the windows. The space is already very limited. Of note, what I had wanted was a transom window so the living room walls were more useful. I’d definitely do the process again, but be mindful of decisions.”
