If you need new hardwood floors, or are tired of the look of your old hardwood, I can absolutely recommend Sword Flooring.After a kitchen remodel that included removing a wall, we were left with a gap in our family room carpeting where the wall had once stood. We decided that rather than replacing the carpet, we would switch to hardwood, but we needed it to match the wood flooring in the adjoining rooms. Sword did a fantastic job of installing the new family room wood floors, then sanding and staining our old floors to rejuvenate the late-1990s finish, which had yellowed with time. A great job. Performed exactly as planned, on schedule, and rebated a bit if the cost since the previous (tech - "pickled") finish came out more easily than expected. The floors are absolutely gorgeous and have withstood a full-scale move-in, full remodeling of much of the house, and a large dog frapping around the house when it's too rainy to go out to play. Yes, you do have to take care of it and not do silly things like dragging furniture across it; if that's what you need to do, get tile or linoleum.
