I had purchased a custom made costume off of Etsy, and the seller did not follow the measurements I sent at all. I took the costume here to Moon's and they did a wonderful job! The costume now fits me perfectly and I couldn't be happier. My co-worker recommended this shop to me and I'm so glad she did. I will definitely return here for any alterations needs in the future!

Moon sewing shop saved us from our 8-month long curtain alteration hell. We purchased blackout curtains that we needed altered - we took them to two different tailors (three attempts overall) but each time the curtains were not quite right. Finally, we found Moon. He fixed out curtains in half the time of the other tailors and they are perfect! We live in Richmond but will be driving to Moon from now on for our alteration needs.

Moon Sewing Shop did an excellent job shortening my formal gown. The stitching on both layers of the hem is beautifully done. They also completed the alteration within a week. I paid $70 for the job--two layers of fabric, which I felt was reasonable. I'm grateful to them for a job well done! I'm so excited to wear this dress! The shop is located in Williamsburg, off of Bulifants Blvd. in the Michael's Commons professional center.
