“Overall it was a great experience working with them getting a patio installed at my home from start to finish. My problems occurred after it was finished. I was out of town when the job was completed and was told a post job inspection would take place to make sure I was satisfied with the installation. That never happened. I called multiple times because the fire pit was not installed the way I specifically requested it to be installed. The top layer of stone was just placed on top of the fire pit with no adhesive securing it.UpdateThe company contacted me and in 48 hours the issues were fixed. “I was in bad need of a new privacy fence, my current one had fallen over in a couple spots. Found Tidewater Trim and Deck on Facebook and gave them a call. Talked with Mr. Mike McAlea and was able to schedule an appointment in one days time. Mike arrived right on time, listened to what I wanted, measured everything, and got a quote to me within one days time. I needed a little time to digest the info and he did not "bug" me about it. When I called to start project, they immediately got busy scheduling, reinspecting, calling city, etc.. Project started in one week and was completed in one day! The next day they came by again and followed up with me to confirm I was pleased. If needing a private fence, I would definitely recommend Tidewater Trim and Deck.“

“So I originally saw J and L on FB while shopping around fir concrete patios after almost a year of debating between cement or gravel. Christian was very quick and thorough and was very happy to work with us as a military family. After we read the invoice , we were happy to begin business. The concrete poeole were very professional, however they did not lay wire mesh or gravel before sanding and pouring, which I will be following uo with J and L about soon. There's even pits on the sides almost right to the top which could break quite easily as time goes on. The final stage of it was setting the rail in and the team sent by J and L were professional, courteous to update as they finished. All in all I'm satisfied , but some of the things done during the concrete phase I have questions and would like further input from J and L on. Be assured I'm happy with my purchase, and also you get a 1 year warranty. So breathe easy everyone. ill update my review after I speak to someone at J and L.“
