“BOOK. KATLYN. Truly. I sat in her chair one time as a stranger and by the end of the morning I genuinely felt like I had known her forever. She has the most comforting, joyful energy and somehow made the entire getting-ready process feel like hanging out with a best friend instead of just getting my hair and makeup done. I got my hair colored by Katlyn once ahead of my trial, along with a fresh cut and color a few weeks prior to make sure we were ready for the day, and every experience was easy and fun.

Of course, she made me feel absolutely BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day (I’m still obsessed with how everything turned out!!!), but what I loved most was how much she cared about me. She was checking that I was breathing, keeping me calm, and reminding me to actually enjoy my wedding morning. She made me feel so cared for during a moment that could have easily become overwhelming.

I recently went to her and when I tell you, it was the BEST service I have ever had in my all years of giving my hair done.

Everyone knows that a great appointment starts with the wash. She washed my hair about 3 times truly getting any residual products out of my hair. Her products stimulated my scalp. Put a deep condition in my hair and put me under the dryer while my feet were elevated. I nearly fell asleep under the dryer.

Before and after blow dry, she was able to manage my tangles if there was any. I never felt any unnecessary pulling. During the actual flat iron process she was able to do one pass without compromising my hair with heat. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing that the next time water hits my hair, my curls with revert healthy as before.

You can tell she really loves what she does. She loves being a mother, salon owner, and hair care specialist. I HIGHLY recommend her. It’s been a few days now and my hair is still as silky before even with the inconsistent humidity.
