“IMO, AHW is the best vet/vet hospital I've ever used. I've used AHW for the care of all of my pets over the years, cradle to grave, including the feral cat colony I take care of. I have never encountered such a caring, friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate, and supportive set of individuals in one facility until I came here (I have lived all over the country). AHW has great technology on site, but also their vets (Dr. Reeder is my favorite - sorry, everyone else!) stay on top of the latest studies and information. Really, all of the vets who practice here are excellent, the techs genuinely care about each animal, and the admin staff are all kind and helpful. Dr. Reeder gave me an extra 18 months with my favorite pet of all time by staying on top of trends for his condition and not being afraid to try new things, while being frank, yet caring, about his condition and prognosis. She is truly a godsend. When it comes time to say goodbye to one of your fur babies, you really couldn't ask for a more compassionate process. Truly, unless it's emergency hours, there is nowhere else I will take my pets.“

“????? Excellent care from staff and surgeons. My gelding had an emergency eye removal on Thanksgiving weekend a few years ago. Dr. Trostle was kind enough to come in and do the surgery in the early morning so I could bring my boy home that afternoon. He recovered well and lives pain free at last!“

“Dr Tom is always kind. He gives us so much knowledge during every visit and helps us understand exactly what is going on and what was done, will be done, or needs to be done. My daughter is 13yo and since she was 9yo she has said she wants to be a veterinarian. When I think of my daughter becoming a veterinarian I think of all the qualities Dr Tom has like the grace he shows us, the way he understands and has empathy with us, the compassion that pours out of him when one of our animals passes away but he reminds us that we had done everything we could, and I pray my daughter will have all of those qualities because with those qualities she will becomes everyone’s favorite Vet just like Dr Tom is ours! He gave everything he had to try and save Donkey, but Donkey passed a few shorts days later. Dr Tom assured us we did everything we could for Donkey.“

Thank you to Maple Lane and its staff for the kindness and compassion shown to our little family during the difficult decision to let our Maya girl cross the rainbow bridge. Thank you for being available the many times I called in to check on her during her stay, not once did I feel like I was being a bother. They allowed us all the time we needed to spend with her on her last day and even bring our other pup to say bye, I am forever grateful for that. We are fairly new to the practice, we searched for a vet for a couple of months before finally settling with them and I am so happy we did, our little girl could not have been in better hands during her final moments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!“
