Despite our initial efforts with our home vet involving intensive daily medical management, the injury remained critical. Following his transfer to the Blue Ridge team, the wound has successfully granulated, the bone is protected, and the infection has resolved, with plans for discharge soon. Dr. Trostle and his staff maintained excellent communication through daily updates and adjustments to the care plan. We selected this facility based on Dr. Trostle’s professional reputation, and his team’s responsiveness—including accommodating weekend visits—was exceptional.
