I went to the Animal Clinic of Verona and met Dr. Landry and his staff. My older cat had become very ill over a short period of time. Everyone in the office was very kind and compassionate. They were gentle with my cat and when he was put down they were very kind and supportive to me. When I am ready for a new companion pet I will definitely be coming back to this animal clinic. Their care for both pets and owners is outstanding.
The veterinarian here is excellent — knowledgeable, compassionate, and clearly cares about the animals. However, my experience with the office management was less positive. While not outright rude, the tone was stern and not particularly welcoming — perhaps efficient from a business standpoint, but not patient-centered.
My biggest concern was the policy around treatment. I brought my dog in for a hot spot and was surprised that treatment was done behind closed doors (and strongly executed) . I’ve been coming to this vet for some time now, and every experience has been great. The people who work here are some of the most kind-hearted individuals I’ve met. They work with your budget and listen to your concerns. They’re very clear when explaining the procedures they recommend as well as the price before doing them. They’re so sweet to my cats as well, which really eases my nerves when they get taken back for an examination. When one of my babies passed, they were very empathetic through the whole process and even sent a sweet card in the mail. Much love to everyone who works here! ❤️
