“I had my normal HVAC provider -5 years running in a call out for ac not working on Sat July 4th (evening). He tried to fix the issue and ultimately indicated I need $2k repair and parts he did not have and would have to come back Tuesday next week. After mulling over on Sunday decided to get a 2nd opinion from Nelson's H&C. I requested a service call Monday morning. Technician came Wednesday afternoon and arrived early than scheduled. After 20 minutes working through the problem, he had the ac working again with a charge of $250 (which included 1gal freon charge unrelated to the issue & and the call out fee). He diagnosed the issue and undercover an wiring issue done by another service provider who had been out the Sat before trying to fix the issue.“

“I had an incredible experience with Cypher Plumbing! Dori was incredibly helpful when our water meter started shooting water. I called them, hoping they could come out today, but I was informed that they were booked until tomorrow.

Dori then called back and informed me that Jason, one of their plumbers, would be in the neighborhood and would come by to check the issue and determine the necessary tools for tomorrow’s repair.

To cut a long story short, the meter was broken, and it was the water company’s responsibility to fix it, which was an emergency situation. They promptly turned off the water from the meter until the Newport News City Water Department arrived a few hours later to fix the issue.

Jason and the other young man who came out were incredibly helpful and didn’t charge me for their services. Cypher Plumbing truly is a wonderful group of people!“
