I had my normal HVAC provider -5 years running in a call out for ac not working on Sat July 4th (evening). He tried to fix the issue and ultimately indicated I need $2k repair and parts he did not have and would have to come back Tuesday next week. After mulling over on Sunday decided to get a 2nd opinion from Nelson's H&C. I requested a service call Monday morning. Technician came Wednesday afternoon and arrived early than scheduled. After 20 minutes working through the problem, he had the ac working again with a charge of $250 (which included 1gal freon charge unrelated to the issue & and the call out fee).
