“My name is Heriberto Acevedo, I live in the City of Miami FL and I want to tell you my story.
My wife Lizett and I have been in a relationship for 18 years, we are young and 39 years old. She had never been pregnant and God gave us her first pregnancy.
At 19 weeks of gestation, when we went to do the genetic ultrasound, they gave us the news that the fetus had a congenital malformation called Fetal Diaphragmatic Hernia. In addition to other complications in the fetus. After several examinations we decided to terminate the pregnancy, already 23 weeks pregnant.
In Florida, by law, it cannot be interrupted until 6 weeks and thank God in Washington we found the best clinic in the United States. DUPONT CLINIC
We had to travel from Miami Fl to Washington DC, it was very hard for us to go to another totally unknown state and even more painful to terminate my wife's pregnancy.
DuPont Clinic where they have care in Spanish, they gave us several care numbers to receive help with the costs of the entire process (clinic costs, travel costs, lodging and food). All the organizations that help with the financing of the entire process I appreciate everything they did for us.
My wife's process was three days because of how many weeks she was pregnant.
The beautiful clinic, with a nice colorful environment where we feel like we were at home.
The purple color predominates, very pretty orchids and perfect cleanliness.
A very nice and affectionate Dula Abby was with us during the process and we thank her for her love and excellent attention to us. At all times he was with my wife (at all times) giving encouragement and attention to everything.
The nurses were also nice and loving and always spoke to me in Spanish and I was happy to be able to communicate in our language.
Doctor Matthew Reeves calmly and professionally guided us and made us feel confident through this painful process that everything would be okay. Talking to him and all his explanations made me 100% calmer and he always made us feel confident that we were in the right place CLINCA DUPONT. She never felt great pain, on the contrary she always felt good.
I have no doubt that the DUPONT CLINIC with all its team is the best in all of the UNITED STATES.

“I absolutely LOVE Dr. Porter. I have been going to her for years. She was referred to me by my primary care physician. Well, more like the nurses at my PCF's office. She insisted that Dr. Porter was one of the great ones and I am so glad I listened! Dr. Porter has been there through all of my OBGYN struggles and finally, she was there to deliver my baby. She is incredibly caring and I trust her completely. She made my biggest worries feel like great opportunities and she is so laid back. She's funny and honest. When I had to induce my baby because he was overdue, she was there to deliver him. I had to have a C-Section because he was in the breech position, but Dr. Porter assured me everything will be ok. She was wonderful. Her comments during the operation made me laugh and gave me a great "birthing story". Now that I am pregnant again, I was initially worried but she eased all of my worries and turned them into excitement. She has always been able to calm me down. I honestly cannot express enough how great she is. She is so real and down to earth and that's almost impossible to find in a doctor nowadays. I send all of my friends and family members to her (if insurance will allow). She's that amazing.“

“I had such a positive experience coming here for my prenatal care as well as post partum check up. The front desk staff is so nice and all the doctors and PAs as well as medical assistants were very nice and helpful. I am so lucky to have had a positive experience especially for my first pregnancy. When I came back for my postpartum check up the front desk staff was so sweet and kept complimenting my baby girl. I was always able to get ahold of them in a reasonable time frame and they never made me feel uncomfortable or worried about anything. They very clearly let me know about everything before doing it. I think they were the reason i was so confident in preparing for labor and delivery. I also delivered my baby at VHC hospital and had the best experience as well with how much the staff took care of me and made me feel safe and comfortable.“
