2100 Maywill St, Richmond“One of our main concerns when moving to Richmond was finding a safe, loving, and fun community for our three dogs to join. We found that with Toby Town. Gloria and her team instantly welcomed our trio, and we are so grateful to have them now as a pillar of our dogs’ daily lives! We would recommend Toby Town to anyone looking for a trustworthy spot where your dogs will thrive!“
7AM - 6PM
3510 Courthouse Rd, Richmond“The staff here are so kind and friendly. My dog, Cosette, begins smiling and wiggling as soon as we walk in the door. It is a 'no frills' place but my dog doesn't need a pool or gym equipment. She needs a loving staff and plenty of dogs to play with. It is affordable and they will even bath her and trim her nails for me. She goes to daycare 2 days a week. Because she has so many positive interactions there, she was comfortable being boarded for a few days.“

9912 Three Chopt Rd, Richmond“We lost our dog Cash at only three years old, and everything happened within 48 hours of finding out he was sick. It was sudden, shocking, and incredibly heartbreaking for our family. Through it all, Dr. Tony showed a level of compassion and support that we will always be grateful for.
He guided us through each step with honesty, patience, and genuine care. Even in such a fast-moving and painful situation, he made sure we understood what was happening and never felt alone in our decisions. The handwritten card he sent afterward was so thoughtful and sincere. It meant more than he probably realizes and showed how deeply he cares about both his patients and their families.
Losing Cash so suddenly was devastating, but having a veterinarian like Dr. Tony and the entire staff there that day made a very difficult time a little easier to bear. We truly appreciate the compassion, kindness, and professionalism he showed our family.“

7416 Brook Rd, Richmond“I love Dr. Zuccaro (Dr. Mike is what I refer to him as, but he also goes by Dr. Z. LOL) and his entire team. I started going there a little over 15 years ago with my yellow lab, Harley. I recently had to put her down, and he was so kind and sweet. He remembered me bringing her in the first time and how they saved her life as a 7.6 lbs puppy. His clinic was the only one she ever visited, and I will continue to see only him and his team for all my future pet care needs. I highly recommend his clinic.“

3071 Mechanicsville Tpke, Richmond“Just visited for the first time for a nail trim, but they were so friendly and professional that I immediately booked a bath appointment for my baby“
8AM - 6PM
213 Granite Spring Rd, Richmond“Dogs Day Inn is the best. My dog, Juicey Moosey, is an absolute lunatic, and somehow the staff handles him like total pros. Whether it’s daycare, boarding, or grooming, I always feel good leaving him there knowing they can handle his nonsense and still seem happy to see him.
He always comes home tired, happy, and looking great after grooming. It’s obvious everyone there actually loves dogs (even the wild ones). If you have a high-energy, slightly unhinged dog like mine, I highly recommend Dogs Day Inn. They’re amazing.!“

4916 W Marshall St, Richmond“We love it! Our 2 dogs seem to enjoy it and the staff is great. Comfortable atmosphere, like you're taking your pet to a friend's.“

9132 W Broad St, Richmond“Barnaby has been going to The Dog Stop for daycare, boarding, and even the occasional nail trim for quite a while now, and I truly cannot say enough good things about them. The staff is always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely excited to see him walk through the door. It is obvious they care deeply about the dogs in their care, and Barnaby is always happy to be there.
One thing I especially appreciate is their flexibility and willingness to help. Whether it's daycare or boarding accommodations, they have consistently gone above and beyond to work with us and provide great service.
A few months ago, we had a billing issue that became more complicated than it needed to be (my fault), but what stood out to me was how accountable and caring the The Dog Stop team was throughout the process. They listened, communicated, and ultimately went out of their way to make things right. That level of customer care says a lot about who they are as a business.
Most importantly, they treat dogs like family. You can see the joy, compassion, and genuine love they have not just for Barnaby, but for every dog that comes through their doors. Knowing he is safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who truly enjoy what they do gives me peace of mind every time I leave him there.
We are incredibly grateful for The Dog Stop and highly recommend them to anyone looking for daycare, boarding, or grooming services for their dog. Five stars all the way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

2109 Spencer Rd, Richmond“Brittney did an incredible job with my very dog reactive rescue, Marley. Before training, Marley became extremely overwhelmed around other dogs, people and new environments, and seemed unsure of how to handle those environments. Now, she has minimal reactions around other dogs, has enjoyed many off-leash adventures and is so much more confident. The biggest change is how much happier and at ease she seems knowing what is expected of her. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Brittney and the difference her training has made!
Impawsible Pups itself is wonderful as well. Marley was always excited to return each week which gave me so much peace of mind knowing how much she enjoyed her time there, and I anticipate having her enrolled in their daycare soon!“

7AM - 7PM
614 Johnston Willis Dr, Richmond“This was the first time I've boarded Buddy (my nine year-old cat) and he was a bit shocked to be left there. I wasn't exactly impressed by some of the staff, and I found it impossible to reach a human by phone. I thought the so-called cat condos a bit cramped, but Buddy did well after going off his food for a day or so.
For short-term boarding, I would recommend Holiday Barn.“
6:30AM - 7:30PM
3601 Cox Rd, Richmond“Took our dog to her first meet and greet and the staff were so awesome with her and very informative. They answered all of our questions with ease and we're so kind. This was especially nice since my girlfriend is a nervous nelly about leaving our baby girl for the first time and they made her feel a lot better about the experience. Heavily recommended coming here with your fur babies!“
7:30AM - 7PM
4800 Thalbro St, Richmond“DogServices – the Thalboro location showed me a level of kindness I will never forget. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer and going through treatment, I was worried about how I would manage everything since I live alone, including caring for my dog, Franklin. The team stepped in to help make sure he could still get to daycare by arranging pickups and drop-offs.
But what meant even more was their compassion. They checked in on me and even offered help with things that had nothing to do with daycare — simply because they cared. They even sent Franklin home with a complimentary bath and made sure he got plenty of love and snuggles while he was there.
Franklin absolutely loves going there, and I am deeply grateful for the support they showed during one of the hardest times in my life.
If you are looking for a place that truly loves animals and the people who love them, this is it. ?“

7300 Impala Dr, Richmond“Very kind people and reasonably priced! My dog has anxiety and they have taken time to really comfort her and I cant thank them enough for that! We will be coming here for now on.“

1 E Belt Blvd, Richmond“My dog Nova sustained an injury while out and about and was in a lot of pain. Our regular vet did not have availability to see her, so I called here and they were able to get her seen within an hour and a half. The staff were helpful and showed Nova so much care and affection. Dr. Infantes was great about communicating his thoughts and desired approach, and they kept me informed throughout the whole process. They were upfront about costs, and I appreciated being able to have the required meds filled in-house instead of having to go to a pharmacy.“

“My shepherd is super reactive. BB and Dr Chub are AMAZING. No issues or shaming. I’ll never use a different vet!“
