My dog is 4 years old and has always had strong guard dog tendencies. He would lunge at cars, bikes, and people on walks. At over 90 pounds, walking him during the day wasn’t safe for me because he could easily pull me over, so I was taking him out at 5 a.m. We also stopped having people over because he would bark nonstop.
I finally signed him up for training with very low expectations. I’d already tried everything people suggested, so I honestly wasn’t expecting much.
I cannot believe the transformation.
Now I can take him on walks without worrying about him lunging, and we’ve had guests over while he calmly stays in his place....read full review
Took my three large breed Siberian huskies in for grooming and de-shedding. The staff did an outstanding job and my dogs were happy and stress-free when I picked them up. The drop off and pick up went smoothly and staff helped me get the dogs in and out of the car.
This was the first time I've boarded Buddy (my nine year-old cat) and he was a bit shocked to be left there. I wasn't exactly impressed by some of the staff, and I found it impossible to reach a human by phone. I thought the so-called cat condos a bit cramped, but Buddy did well after going off his food for a day or so.
For short-term boarding, I would recommend Holiday Barn.
