“We have been bringing our dogs to A Stay in the Country for years. Our family has always had a positive experience. The staff truly care about our pups and send us updates on their stay as well as pictures. They are fantastic!”
“Connie is not only an amazing instructor but a knowledgeable horse woman. She is flexible in her scheduling and always takes the time to make her students feel respected. Her facility is outdoor so you get to enjoy Virginia in all 4 of her seasons. The arenas are kept tidy and sit beautifully in her picturesque property. Her boarders are always happy and the horses are taken care of with such pride. I rode with her for almost a year- in that time I improved my ground skills and jumping much further than I had riding for a year in a previous barn. She is still someone I personally trust about potential purchasing or evaluation of horses. Her riding program has amazing horses for all types of learners. She is the barn for anyone wanting to ride in the Richmond/Petersburg area.”
