“A Stay in the Country is absolutely amazing!! I have a 4 year old stubborn corgi who is my fur child, and we had to board him for a little over a week for a vacation. I was super nervous because he normally stays with family, however all my worries disappeared because of how caring and kind all the staff were!! I got the photo package and the staff did a great job of keeping me updated on my fur baby. My corgi is also quite shy and nervous around strangers but the staff was so great working with him and I truly felt like he was in the best hands while we were away. We will absolutely be using a Stay in the Country again in the future!“

“Connie is not only an amazing instructor but a knowledgeable horse woman. She is flexible in her scheduling and always takes the time to make her students feel respected. Her facility is outdoor so you get to enjoy Virginia in all 4 of her seasons. The arenas are kept tidy and sit beautifully in her picturesque property. Her boarders are always happy and the horses are taken care of with such pride. I rode with her for almost a year- in that time I improved my ground skills and jumping much further than I had riding for a year in a previous barn. She is still someone I personally trust about potential purchasing or evaluation of horses. Her riding program has amazing horses for all types of learners. She is the barn for anyone wanting to ride in the Richmond/Petersburg area.“
