“I believe that a large part of getting treatment to improve one’s health is the environment itself. Before I even arrived at Glide, I spoke with Ashlyn to begin the initial registration process. She is very friendly and engaging, and most importantly, sincere. Upon my arrival, she was warm and welcoming and made sure that I had everything that I needed before my first consultation. At the time of this, it was painful to walk with every step, from a severe lower back injury. With no disrespect to chiropractors, that title doesn’t accurately capture the true essence of Dr. Lily: A HEALER. While she has demonstrated specialized expertise and skill time and time again, what I appreciated most from the outset was how she took the time to LISTEN to what had been going on and what brought me to her office. It is so vitally important that a medical professional truly listens to their patients, rather than deciding they know what is best, with minimal input. One of the first procedures she utilized was dry needling. What struck me about that is when I received it before at a physical therapy office, there was a great deal of paperwork, disclaimers, authorizations, before I received a minimal amount of dry needling (without issue). The fact that Dr. Lily used the dry needles so soon after showed me that she was operating on an entirely different level. The worse off you are, the more necessary it is that you go see her.
Dr. Lily takes the health of her patients personally; you can really tell that she is vested in your recovery. It took quite a long time for me to get back into fighting shape, and she counseled me not just on physical activities I should and should not be doing, but also dietary changes necessary to support my healing.
It is important to note that despite all that Dr. Lily can do, she needs our help! We need to FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. We are ultimately most responsible for our health, and whether it improves or declines. She gives us the “under the hood” work and the navigation, but it’s on us to follow the course. Also most appreciated is that Dr. Lily recognizes that some issues are beyond her capacity, and counsels patients on alternate routes to take when that occurs.
I also have really enjoyed the red light therapy. It takes several sessions to take effect, but it has improved my overall being, mental state, and focus. It is a great complement to chiropractic treatment.
Probably the most powerful endorsement I can give is that I brought my two most precious jewels, my children, to receive treatment from her as well. Both Ashlyn and Dr. Lily have built a rapport with each of them (no small feat when dealing with teenagers) to the point that they have told me “I need to go to Dr. Lily,” when too much time has passed.
Five stars is not enough for how highly I rate this practice. It is a two woman show of the highest caliber that I would and HAVE recommended to many.“

Imagine being so stiff and sore that just standing up from the sofa after watching a 30 minute tv show and you hurt and feel so stiff that you walk bent over for the first couple of minutes. My 12 year old son had low back tightness and after his treatment Monday he is still saying his tightness today (Wednesday) is gone and his movement feels so much lighter and easier to perform. I had restricted motion in my shoulders and pain at the top of my foot when stepping out of bed for the last 3 weeks. Since my treatment on Monday the restriction has been relieved and I noticed Tuesday and Wednesday morning I don’t have the pain on the top of my foot!

We were specifically looking for a chiropractor who utilized adjustments along with ART(Active Release Techniques) as part of the treatment. Dr. Synder was amazing from performing the movement evaluation, his wholistic treatment approach, as well as educating us on future stretching and exercises to help address the root cause of our issues.

Truly appreciative that Dr. Synder was able to accommodate my son and I on short notice while visiting family in Virginia. We will be booking appointments with him next summer when we return for a summer youth football camp in the area!
