“Naomi is the best. She’s a little intimidating at first - she doesn’t stand for much nonsense. If you want to use her as a groomer, expect to be put on a schedule - I ask my dogs to be groomed every 8-10 weeks. She creates the schedule and texts it to you for an entire year. My dogs always desperately need grooming by the time their appointments come up. If you don’t like a yearly schedule, I wouldn’t recommend Omistar. It’s how she runs her business and it works great. Naomi and her husband run the business by themselves so are always extremely busy. They ask you not to call to find out when your dog will be ready. They will call or text when they are. Every time they have to answer the phone, they are losing time grooming. If you are an anxious owner who wants to check in on your babies every hour, I would not recommend Omistar. If you want an excellent groomer who really cares about the dogs and their safety while in her care, I would highly recommend them. Naomi is definitely the alpha.“

She does a fabulous job at calming them and trying to make them feel comfortable, which I really appreciate. The spa itself is beautiful and clean. Our dog has anxiety and so we worry about her, but she is comfortable going to Dogtopia and we love that if we board her and are missing her we can jump on and check the cameras to see her. “I came for help in saying goodbye to my English Mastiff rescue due to her health issues and age. There was so much kindness and consideration from everyone there. We were led to a comfortable room with a large dog bed on the floor, which I truly appreciated for my big girl. (I'd recommed some soothing music for that room and a few lamps for softer lighting.) The tech that assisted was so wonderful, kept us informed, checking on us alot and offering her heart at this difficult time. There was no rush for any part of the process. While this was so incredibly hard for me, Blue Ridge Vet made the process much easier. I was so impressed with them, and even though it's a hike to get there, I will now make them my new doctor for my new English Mastiff rescue and any future dog. “Very nice staff. Seem to have everything one needs for their pets. They also have a grooming service; a lovely cat hotel for adoption of cats; and other pets for purchase ( hamsters, etc...). Prices are fair and they are very knowledgeable.“
