“We are extremely happy with our new custom wood island! We wanted to replace our original builder-grade, painted island with a better quality stained-wood island that provided more storage and made better use of the existing footprint. Joel and Danielle absolutely delivered.
They worked with us to make sure the wood, cut, stain, and design fit our style perfectly. The new island is beautiful, extremely well built, and much more functional. They eliminated the wasted space around our microwave, which allowed for larger drawers and added cabinet doors along the back of the island, providing significantly more usable storage.
One thing that really impressed us happened during installation. After removing the old island, Joel discovered the builder had installed it directly over an A/C vent with no opening for the air to escape. Instead of simply covering it back up, Joel took the extra time to modify the new island on site and add a register/grille in the base so the air now flows properly into the kitchen instead of being trapped in the cabinetry. That extra effort really showed the level of care they put into their work.
Joel took his time with the installation and made sure everything was done right. We couldn’t be happier with the craftsmanship, customer service, and finished product. We were so pleased that we’re working with them on a custom vent hood cover to match the island.
