“We have taken all our animals to AVAH since we moved to Staunton in 1986. In that time, they have saved the lives of our pets more than once and always kept them healthy. The doctors and whole staff get to know you and your pets and clearly want the best for them, and they know how to deliver. Our pit bull, Lilly, loves everybody there. She doesn't like the shots or having her temperature taken, but you can't have everything. Before and after those procedures, you'd think she was at the dog park, she is so excited to see everyone, and they are all obviously just as happy to see her and to help keep her healthy.“

“We have 3 large dogs. Dr. Reeder is the best! The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place for your fur babies!“

“I brought my grandpuppy Shelby to them with dental issues. They took great care of her. At 10 yes old, she had lost her energy, now she is so active and in shape. She has a sparkle in her eyes and is so annoying wanting to play ball all day.. Back to normal....Thank you ladies Great Job!!!!“

“We took our little Chihuahua in when his cheek swelled up. They gave him an inflammatory shot and some pills. We had to bring him back the next week and he had to have 11 teeth pulled. The entire staff is wonderful. They even called and sent us a text message after the procedure to let us know how he was doing and when we could pick him up.“

“If I could leave more stars I would. The staff at Clair Park and Dr. Logan are fantastic. Our dog Loki became ill a few weeks ago and they did everything in their power to help him. They went above and beyond, answered all of our questions and put up with us everyday it seemed. They were compassionate, helpful, and treated us as family and Loki as one of their own. I would choose Dr. Logan and his staff every day all day to treat our animals.

Unfortunately Loki was laid to rest yesterday 5/5/25 and again they were compassionate and made his final moments peaceful and an easy process.

“We have always used the hospital for all of our pets. They are very professional but also caring. When our 3 year old Walker coonhound was diagnosed with cancer they were quick to get us to a surgeon who could care for her. Sadly she passed about 9 months after diagnosed and they were so compassionate to our family and her. I would highly recommend them for your pets.“

“????? Excellent care from staff and surgeons. My gelding had an emergency eye removal on Thanksgiving weekend a few years ago. Dr. Trostle was kind enough to come in and do the surgery in the early morning so I could bring my boy home that afternoon. He recovered well and lives pain free at last!“

“I’ve been coming to this vet for some time now, and every experience has been great. The people who work here are some of the most kind-hearted individuals I’ve met. They work with your budget and listen to your concerns. They’re very clear when explaining the procedures they recommend as well as the price before doing them. They’re so sweet to my cats as well, which really eases my nerves when they get taken back for an examination.
