“My step mother is very ill. She gave into my grumpy elderly father's enormous pressure and bought him a puppy on Valentines Day. Unfortunately the puppy is a very high-energy breed. Carla is clearly both brave and caring. She went for many lessons to train the people (more dad, who think dogs should be spoiled) and the dog. It could not have gone well, but it went much better than my sisters and I expected. Carla was very helpful.Carla is an angel and a saint.“

Angie met with me one on one where she answered all my questions and explained next steps/future lessons. After my three other one on one sessions, Angie truly cared about my dog. She was responsive, attentive to her behaviors and supportive of me, both in class and via text. Needless to say, I have a well mannered dog now that enjoys learning more in dog class. “Old Bridge Vet has been our veterinarian ever since we moved to Virginia. They helped us through a difficult time with our dog Bella when she passed away earlier this year. They were compassionate and caring. Our new dog Peggy is well taken care of also by them. I would highly recommend them to any pet owners in the Lake Ridge area. They also provide kennel services which we have used several times. Always with great results. I should also mention the employees there. They are very friendly and you can just tell they love animals. Pricing is about the norm for any vet and they also provide a military discount.“

“I recently went to Dale City Animal Hospital w a foster cat I have. They recently moved and have a new facility which is large, clean and very welcoming. I got an appointment approximately a week or so after I called. The front desk staff was courteous and nice and I was checked in right after arriving. I did wait a little for my appointment but that’s pretty standard for a veterinary office. We saw Dr Drake whom I found to be very informative and was willing to listen to my concerns, which I had a lot of. I really liked the way she seems to summarize her findings and she was gentle and compassionate with my foster who is an older cat who has not had the best life before coming into our rescue. I was very happy with her plan of action and her recommendations. She called me as soon as she had the lab results which I appreciated and gave me an outline of what our next steps should/could be. Again, I found her to be very informative in her explanations and the possible plan of treatment. I was very surprised when my phone rang at 8:15 tonight and showed DCAH. She had received a lab test we were waiting on and had taken time out of her busy day (when she probably just wanted to get home) to let me know the outcome. I thought that was pretty great. All in all, I’m very very pleased with everything at this location and I consider myself to be pretty picky, and Dr Drake is a caring vet whom has a great “bedside” manner, or should I say table side manner ?. Thank you DCAH and Dr Drake for being so good to my sweet foster boy who deserves the best after his first 12-15 years of life which were not so great.“
