I go down to the basement and notice that it is very wet down there but no puddles. Next child is now in the shower and I am watching water come up out of the basement drain - my septic is over flowing.I called a rooter company and they came out, dug up my front yard and pumped my tank, filled the hole and went no further with any kind of diagnostic before telling me that my entire system needs replaced and it was going to be in the $20k range. My yard was left a hot mess after they were done, requiring a weekend to level the area and lay seed and straw - I needed a second opinion.
