20608 Gordon Pk Sq STE 190, Ashburn“My kid has been learning piano for over a year and has been able to play many songs. PianoExpress is a great place to learn piano. Below are the top things I like.
The format. The first half hour is self-practice at the studio with help from friendly and skilled teaching assistants; The second half hour is a group music theory class taught by professional pianists. The combination works really well for my son as a beginner.
The web based app. The app is very easy to use. With a screen connected to a piano, it provides instant feedback. My kid loves practicing at home at his own pace.
Schedule. The schedule is flexible. Occasionally we would miss some classes. The front desk is always happy to schedule make-up sessions for us.
Recital. Mr. Greg offers and emphasizes recital opportunities so students can improve confidence of playing in front of audience.
Last and the most important, the people. Mr Greg and Mr.Jared are very friendly, supportive, and skilled professional pianists. All other instructors and front desk assistants are very professional and friendly.“

Her teaching includes expert instruction on musicianship, technique and theory. Her performance history provides important advice on how best to present a piece to the audience. Students are fortunate to have her for a teacher!“

4090 Lafayette Center Dr, Chantilly“We’ve had a wonderful experience with School of Rock over the past couple of years. My son started at the Haymarket location and recently transitioned to the newly opened Chantilly school, where he was one of the senior students.
The growth we’ve seen in his musical skills and confidence has been incredible, especially compared to where he first began. I really appreciate the School of Rock format — the combination of one-on-one instruction and full band practice gives kids a unique opportunity to not only learn their instrument, but also how to perform and collaborate as part of a band.
What truly sets this place apart is the people. The owners, staff, and instructors are all exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. A special thank you to Mr. Conner and Mr. Drake for creating such a positive and inspiring environment for the kids.
Highly recommend to any parent looking to nurture their child’s passion for music!“

“Some experiences change you forever. Our recent journey to New York City was one of those moments, and it would never have been possible without Notes N Beats and the extraordinary Veena Pandiri.
Veena is truly a force of nature. The opportunities she creates for her students are beyond anything we could have ever imagined, but what makes her exceptional is not just what she helps these children accomplish. It is the love, passion, and heart she pours into every lesson and every child she mentors.
As parents, watching our daughter appear on two Times Square billboards, displayed 120 times over two days during one of the busiest weekends in New York as millions gathered to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America's independence, felt like a dream. Then, seeing her perform highly technical Indian classical music on the iconic stage of Carnegie Hall brought tears to our eyes. It was one of those rare moments when words simply cannot capture the pride, gratitude, and overwhelming emotion you feel as a parent.
In a world where it is so easy for children growing up outside India to lose touch with their roots, Veena does something truly remarkable. She not only teaches music with incredible depth and excellence, but also instills in her students a deep appreciation for India's rich cultural heritage. Watching these children embrace and perform such beautiful, technically challenging Indian classical music with pride is nothing short of inspiring. She is preserving a priceless legacy for the next generation, and that is an extraordinary gift.
What makes Notes N Beats even more special is that it is so much more than a music school. It is a place where confidence is nurtured, character is built, lifelong friendships are formed, and children learn that their talents can be used to serve others. Through numerous performances supporting charitable causes, the students learn that music has the power to heal, unite, and make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
We feel incredibly blessed that our daughter is learning from someone who not only teaches music at the highest level but also inspires her students to dream bigger, work harder, stay grounded, and never forget where they come from. Thank you, Veena, for opening doors we never imagined possible, for believing in these children, and for giving them experiences, values, and memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Our hearts are full of gratitude. We will always cherish this incredible journey, and we are so thankful to be part of the Notes N Beats family.“
