“I was looking for a contractor to repair storm damage to my home. We needed a contractor that would file permits and take on a job that was less than $50,000. Our roof had damage that most roofers will not touch as rafters needed to be repaired. We had some internal damage too. I came across Capitol Builders through a search on the internet. They came, listened and quickly provided a quote. My only hesitation, I was not seeing current reviews online and it made me doubt that I could trust this company. All I can say Martir the owner spoke to me about my concerns and earned my trust. The craftspeople that he employees are some of the best I have ever seen and we had our entire house gutted when we bought it so I have seen a lot of good and bad work. Martir filed the permits and got to work. Each day another worker showed up to repair my home. Martir was orchestrating the flow of workers very efficiently. I could not be happier with the quality of the work being done, the communication and the value that Capitol Builders provide. I will update with pictures once all work is completed in a few weeks as we wait for a final permit.“

“D&Y Landcaping did a FANTASTIC job on my yard! I would recommend these landscapers to anyone. I had a mess of a yard. Overgrown several flower beds, a dead tree, some bushes that needed to be removed, mulch clean beds. Trim my hedges and paint my old shed! These workers NEVER STOPPED. So into detail and this was tedious work. Absolutely worth their time and effort!“

“We used NV to do a 2nd story addition on our raised rambler. I got 5 bids from 5 builders and NV design was one of the only companies not to bid a completely different job than requested; which I greatly appreciated!The design process with NV was simple, we went back and forth a few times to iron out details and then sent the design to Arlington for permits.The build process was estimated at 14 weeks and we completed in 16 weeks (which is honestly awesome! I've done other large renos on other properties and NV's timeline was very reasonable!). This included me asking to change the interior door type which themselves took 4 weeks to build from the manufacturer (I want to highlight how well they did by coming in so close to estimate!!!)The finished product is amazing, the build quality was great, the subs on site cleaned up well, our GC was great, and it really turned out well!Have them bid your project!“

“HABE construction did a wonderful job on my house. First off we had rotted wood over several exterior pieces, especially over the windows. We had a metal rusted back door that needed replaced as well. They saved us over 35K but just replacing the wood alone namely over the large windows we had. Robert and his team were very patient and constantly asked us if we were happy as they were working. They adjusted to changes and even helped fix a few things not part of the original plan. The door setup looked great. There was some light peeking out and they came back immediately to fix it. Brook Addisu was our main POC to get all the work done. Unfortunately I had to make him wait for almost a year before I could start his team on our house but he helped us out every step of the way. I went through multiple quotes and contractors before I settled with him but I was not disappointed at all. Every time there was an issue it was fixed. He also had a team install our new gutters which look fantastic. I appreciated Brook and Roberts crew professionalism and care were some of the best I've experienced. Thank you all for a great job and please use them for any jobs. They did a wonderful job!“

Not only I got a fresh coat of paint, all the holes and cracks in the walls and ceiling were thoroughly fixed and the walls were smoothed. Very detail oriented and customer friendly. “Our technician was outstanding and fast! He was professional, friendly and did a great job.

However the pricing was a bit interesting in our case. The work took 30 minutes. The job is estimated on an hourly rate, the customer has to pay for the first hour regardless, even if the technician only take 15 minutes to get it done. After the first hour your billed in 15 minutes increments unless it goes to the next hour. So, we were billed 1hr. 30 minutes for a 30 minute job on top of a $75 trip fee.

“I had an ongoing sewage backup in my outside basement stairwell since last December 2021. I had gotten three estimates; Mr Nelson's was very reasonable. My plumbing problem was that the sewage pipe is galvanized and had deteriorated. It was the original pipe of my 1949 row home, and the main problem with the pipe extended into the recreation room of the basement. They were going to have to dig. My anxiety went through the roof; however, Mr Nelson diffused my fears and worked with me. He and his team explained the entire procedure, broke it down where I clearly understood, and also provided me a status with pictures. This company is very meticulous about their work, and they clean up and haul away excess debris and mud. I am very happy, and the sewage pipe and drain now work perfectly. Nelson will definitely be my plumbing first choice, and I highly recommend them.“
