“We initially came to Andrea for help renovating just a family room in our house. We looked at various designers but kept coming back to Andrea’s designs. Her rooms always seem to have the right amount of symmetry and the kind of colors and textures and simplicity that really suits us. We really enjoyed meeting her in person. We love that she runs her own business and is local here to Arlington. She was great to work with. She helped us figure out “our style”. She gives us just the right number of design choices without ever making us feel overwhelmed. She was able to create a beautiful room for us that was still practical for our children and our dogs. We were so happy with the first room that we ended up continuing on with her to redecorate most of the rest of our home. Years later, we are returning to her as we are designing a one story addition off the back of our house with a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom in order to have a space for our parents to come live with us when the time is right. “We completed a full house renovation with Four Brothers in 2025 after a fire had forced us out in early 2024. Four Brothers was EXCEPTIONAL. Their expertise, honesty, efficiency, and designs were outstanding. Craig talked us through design from cabinet pulls to major appliances, steering us toward solutions that were practical and still gave us what we wanted. Azad and his construction crew executed the designs perfectly and consulted us along the way when questions arose. The kitchen now makes optimal use of the space available and gives us maximum storage and workspace. It looks good too. We couldn’t be happier.“

Mr. Carter liberated our senses and showed us how to keep our antique collections and make them new again through curating. It is impossible to talk about design and the last 15 years of style evolution with out discussing his body of work. Mr. Cater is a national treasure and DC is very-very lucky to have him. Why has he not been apart of the White House redesign yet? Big mystery to me.“
