We initially came to Andrea for help renovating just a family room in our house. We looked at various designers but kept coming back to Andrea’s designs. Her rooms always seem to have the right amount of symmetry and the kind of colors and textures and simplicity that really suits us. We really enjoyed meeting her in person. We love that she runs her own business and is local here to Arlington. She was great to work with. She helped us figure out “our style”. She gives us just the right number of design choices without ever making us feel overwhelmed. Andrea Houck has provided my husband and me (as relatively new empty nesters) with stellar interior design services at two homes now, invariably with beautiful results! She worked hard to understand our tastes and objectives with each room, then presented us with a variety of options, usually nailing it the first time but working with us to modify the initial plans, from time to time, based on our inputs. Her design presentations include to-scale pictorial designs, pictures of furniture and artwork, samples (fabric, paint, wallpaper, etc.), and pricing, and once decisions are made, a clear timeline for installations.
