“I've been looking for a local spa to try out since we're new to the area. I came across the Institute of Harmonic Massage and decided to take advantage of their first time client deal on a one hour introductory massage. The building is located in old town Wiley and is in a small cottage type home. It's super cute and offers relaxing vibes. I originally booked with Deborah but for reasons unknown to me, I was rescheduled with Monique. Although the lack of communication was a little concerning, I was very pleased with my experience. Monique was truly amazing and the massage was fantastic. She listened to all of my wants and needs and followed it to the tee. This establishment is definitely worth a five star review and the only reason I'm giving them a four star is I noticed that you don't get massaged for the full hour. They start the clock per your accountant time. For example. Say your appt is at 2pm, well it takes them a second to get you into a room and they give you time to undress and get settled onto the table. By the time they come back into the room, it's about 2:15 now and then the massage is over at 3pm. That's only a 40-45min massage. I thought it was just a first time thing but I booked a second time and noticed the same thing. I'm not sure if this is common practice or if I am just used to being spoiled back in my home state. That being said, the actual massage was amazing and I will go back. Maybe I'll work up the nerve to ask in the future.“
