The associate took my information, called me back within 10 minutes, and dispatched an A/C tech to visit my home between 2PM and 2:30PM. Steven showed up precisely at 2:00PM. Last weekend, “The Boss” noticed the AC didn’t seem to be working correctly and said it felt like heat was blowing through the vents. Of course, as I often do, I assumed she’d lost her mind. Turns out, as is also often the case, I was wrong.

By late Sunday evening, the house was getting noticeably warmer. I called JD’s Monday morning and scheduled an appointment for Friday morning (today), since we were going to be out of town during the week.

This morning, I received a text letting me know the tech was on the way, and Jaren arrived shortly after. He was personable, respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. He listened to my concerns and immediately began diagnosing the issue.

In less than an hour, he had identified the problem and the AC was back up and running. Apparently, the control board for the larger unit had failed and was activating the heating coils with the AC unit. The board failure was likely due to storm damage from around the same time the issue started.

In full disclosure, we’ve now used JD’s several times, and they continue to impress. We’ll definitely keep using them in the future.“

“Okay, so I got my A/C units serviced on May 7th. I thought they did a good job, however, on May 29th my primary unit coils froze. I called Earls and they came out same day to diagnose/fix at no cost since they just serviced my A/C. Now today (30May), my secondary unit just stopped working and Earls wants to charge me about 400 dollars to even come out and look at.
Here’s what scares me, my A/C units both were fine before they came out to service, now I’m having issues. Please beware if you use this company.

Earls called me back and sent someone out asap. Unit is back online with no cost associated to diagnose/fix.
Technician was extremely thorough and explained what happened, and how I may need to look into further action in-order to mitigate any future potential issues.“
