I think I ended up asking for something more along the lines of Swedish massage even though I booked us for a deep tissue couples massage. My husband and I really enjoyed it and will be sure to follow the instructions to hydrate to help clear any lactic acid from our wonderful massages. My therapist (Joy) was really responsive during the massage to my requests to increase or decrease pressure depending on what each area of my body could tolerate. The entire massage was awesome. She even took a little time to work on my knees and hips because I had mentioned in my consultation that those were problem areas for me as well. Tabitha was my therapist for a combination lymphatic drainage and relaxation session. She provided me with a heavenly warmed neck pillow and gave me an expert massage.
