I was 10 minutes late to my service appointment, showed him my cracked phone, and he literally immediately figured out that it was only my screen protector that was damaged. I had forgotten I even had that protector on my phone since it had been put on when I bought it. He pulled the protector off, handed both back to me, cool as you please and sent me on my way without a charge. Nicest guy ever - he even gave me the pro tip to go back to the store where I got the phone and see if the screen protector was under warranty.
