“I called SPF for an estimate on a small metal building. Pablo came out the same day which was wonderful due to my busy schedule. He walked through the building with me and discussed my wants, needs, any concerns I had. The price he gave me was very reasonable. I was also happy Pablo said the estimate would be good for quite some time as I wasn't sure when I would be able to do it. I called him and arranged for service after some electrical was done. He was here when he said he would be and was done the same day as promised. He and his crew were not just professional, they were kind and considerate. “I called A & D Roofing regarding a leak in my roof. They came out that day to look at it and gave me a price to repair it. I knew it was going to be a job because I had tried to fix it before with some success, but it kept coming back after several months. Because of the frequent rains we were having I knew it was going to be a test to get it done without being rained on or rained out. Tony did an excellent job following the weather and on a day that was clear, he had his crew out to get the job done. It was completed in just one day and was done in a very professional manner. They matched my existing roof to the letter and it looks really good. You cannot tell that part of the roof was removed and replaced. They did a great job. A & D is my new roofing contractor. Excellent work. Very reasonably priced.“

“During the high-heat wave thus Summer, I needed to check the swamp coolers on the roof for continued efficiency. I was shocked to see parts of the roof had inflated into large bubbles, and one of the eaves was pulling away. Of course, it was perfectly flat when installed by A-1 Roofing in 2007, and performed flawlessly over the past 16 years, far beyond the warranty. In fact, despite the grotesque deformation, the marvelous barrier was doing exactly as intended--keeping the wet & exterior climate from intruding into our living space. I was extremely satisfied with that and had no qualms about contacting FELIPE MARTINEZ [915.252.5552; [email protected]] for another superior roof. In fact, because the roll roof A-1 had installed on the almost flat ~1800 square foot area had survived as long as it did made it easy for me. I normally would contact several roofers/obtain quotes/compare for the best deal, but the excellent performance of the 2007 roof was all the evidence I needed to have A-1 do it again. Their timing was better than expected, only 2.5 days from the moment their roll-away dumpster was deposited in one half of our driveway until roofers JOSE & JAIME were putting the finishing touches on the stunning hot-mopped/white granulated roof/Sun-averse white painted squares around the vents/swamp cooler jacks, I could see another wise investment in our home. I really appreciated their attention to details like a well-installed/new drip edge along the inside & outside roof perimeter, and constantly cleaning up behind themselves/work area. It was expensive (~$12,500), maybe two or three times as much as the usual hot-mop roll roof (~$4,000; which we've had before with other roofers during our 30+ years here), but those roofs might last a third or a fourth as long, so we're really saving money paying for the extra-special roll roofing. There is no question in my mind that A-1 Roofing definitely has my coveted "¡Wheel of Approval!"“

“No doubt the best roofer in town. Javier says what he means and means what his says, not to be dramatic. We recommend the USA General team without reservation. Searching for trusted, quality craftsman, including a quality roofer, was an exhausting, daunting and frustrating task; we almost gave up in despair. The home we purchased this past year was re-roofed as part of the owner transition. That unfortunately went VERY poorly for a host of reasons and left some less than ideal conditions on the roof, decking and facia of our new home; we just didn’t appreciate how “less than ideal”. We contracted with USA General Contractors for some needed facia work and installation of gutters after he was providentially recommended to us. Javier returned our text outreach with a same day call. The next day he and his Senior craftsman walked the ground, discussed the details of the desired work and we received an unambiguous, written, fully itemized proposal and cost. We knew there was a chance for surprises during the job and that was understood. Javier and his onsite Craftsman led by Enrique and Enrique’s son and their team, kept their word on job timing, updates, cost, and when issues we knew would arise, did, a same day well thought out documented fully disclosed and itemized updated proposal was coordinated. That led to a HIGH quality end state and long term protection for our home. The results were absolutely amazing. Our homes curb appeal has markedly improved in addition to restoration of problems neglected and hidden by the previous roofer nine months ago. We are going to ask Javier’s team to prep and paint our home in the near future, having seen the superb craftsmanship of Enrique and team first hand.“

“I want to say upfront that ANY review that talks about this company with regards to. Home Warranty Service Request it is NOT this company. A simple search of the Home Service contractor and phone number will show you that. The names are nearly identical but it is NOT this company. I, too, had a non working HVAC and First American provided RAA Group dba (doing business as) Lone Star Mechanical. Joe is Lone Star Mechanical CONTRACTOR and is not a DBA. So that's right off the bat for all these bad reviews impacting a great, local, family owned small business. Also, the DBA company has Amanda who entertains all the service calls, Joe handles his own and doesn't have an office secretary.All that being said, I too got ZERO response from LS Mechnical and Google it to see if I got a different number and I did so I called it. I got Joe. He told me upfront it was the wrong company, he does not work with any Home Warranty and it would be a 150 service call for him to come out. I decided I would rather have him than LS Mehancial who can't even return a call. When I tell you, this great guy Joe, came to my home on his Saturday at 8am...he diagnosed my AC and gave me a full explanation as to how it all works and to educate me on my system. Long story short, two times my warranty company failed me and both times Joe and his team came to my home within 24 hours and fixed it. And Joe still to this day entertains all my texts with questions and concerns. Fantastic company. I sure wish people would do some research before hurting a great company's 30 year reputation. Couldn't say enough great things about them.“
