During the high-heat wave thus Summer, I needed to check the swamp coolers on the roof for continued efficiency. I was shocked to see parts of the roof had inflated into large bubbles, and one of the eaves was pulling away. Of course, it was perfectly flat when installed by A-1 Roofing in 2007, and performed flawlessly over the past 16 years, far beyond the warranty. In fact, despite the grotesque deformation, the marvelous barrier was doing exactly as intended--keeping the wet & exterior climate from intruding into our living space.
