Jody's input was very helpful as she gently guided us thru this unexpected chapter of our lives. When we weren't sure on a couple of decisions, she shared great options to help us along. Her team was courteous and professional. The team definitely went above and beyond when a vase got knocked over onto the sign in book. They took the book back, dried the pages and photocopied them so we didn't miss anyone.

The siblings visited with one other local funeral home and selected Allen Family based on their personal service, familiarity with the church where the service was held and pricing. The Allen Family staff interfaced with the church seamlessly. They also efficiently communicated with the cemetery in east Texas where my mother-in-law was buried and easily handled the transportation. It says a lot when you can please 5 individuals. “It’s been about 8 years since I’ve had to meet with a funeral director about a loved one and I must say that Raini Day was an exception. She didn’t mind answering all of the many questions our family had about the services. My biggest concern was that my sister [Janet Sebile] looked like herself and if she did not I did not want an open casket. I must say that Raini exceeded my expectations and she will never know how important that was to me, so I’m eternally grateful.
