“I had an exceptional experience at McGuiness Dermatology in Murphy, Texas, and I can’t recommend this clinic highly enough! From start to finish, the staff’s warmth, professionalism, and care made a potentially stressful visit truly comforting and reassuring.
My mom was visiting from out of town when she showed me a few concerning spots on her face and legs, ranging from eraser to dime-sized, that had been growing. Naturally, I panicked, worried about skin cancer, and insisted she get them checked immediately. My mom, hesitant due to past negative healthcare experiences and a fear of scarring, didn’t expect to see a doctor quickly since appointments are often booked weeks in advance. However, when I called McGuiness Dermatology, the front desk staff, including the wonderful Cat, was incredibly accommodating. They had a cancellation the very next day and worked with us to schedule an appointment before my mom’s departure in two days. Cat was kind, efficient, and sent all the necessary paperwork links, making the process seamless and stress-free.
Upon arriving, the front desk team greeted us with huge smiles and a welcoming attitude that instantly put us at ease. Corrine the nurse, was an absolute gem. She called us back, clearly explained the skin cancer screening process, and even lightened the mood with a punny joke that eased my mom’s nerves. Her warmth and attentiveness made a huge difference.
When Heather Bailey, NP, entered the room, her calming presence was immediately felt. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and meticulous, leaving no inch of my mom’s skin unchecked. Heather’s gentle and caring approach during the exam and biopsy made my mom feel like a person, not just a patient. She addressed my mom’s fears and potential outcomes with compassion and expertise, which meant the world to us.
Corrine and Heather are a dynamic duo, working together like two peas in a pod. Their synergy was remarkable, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed their work and each other’s company. I was shocked to learn Heather had just started at the clinic—she fit in so naturally, it felt like she’d been part of the team for years. The entire staff radiated positivity and a true passion for patient care.

“Had a procedure to remove a large cyst from my back at Bare Dermatology on Raintree in Allen, Texas today. I am extremely pleased! It was the most pleasant medical procedure of my 62 year old life. Dr. Davis & her assistant, Sherry were a most excellent team. Not only are they totally top shelf skilled they left me feeling like a loved brother. The surgery was painless & I have never seen such a seamless surgical cut stitch up with love. Dr. DiAnne Davis & Sherry performed as one with total competence & care. “I visited Dr.Awan at the recommendation of my mother in law. I was stung by a wasp on my finger in mid July and the skin was turning black, so I visited Dr.Awan.

I have visited with him twice now, and he has called and spoken to me 3 times, in depth, about the blood culture and results. He has gone above and beyond, to help me get this resolved. I am still scheduled for more follow ups, but I believe that he will get me healthy again and I will be seeing him for more skin related issues soon.

I am thoroughly impressed with his bedside manner, follow up, knowledge, his staff, especially Bianca, and his office. He was not quick to rush me out or rush out of the office to the next patient. He examined me and took his time doing so. I appreciated that.

“Dr. Kia was very friendly and professional at my first appointment with him. I went in for a skin cancer check due to some unknown bumps on my face. My appointment was at 9am, I arrived around 8:45am and was done by about 9:20am. He let me ask about my concerns first and educated me on what they were (thankfully not skin cancer). Then he did a full body check. He did diagnose me with rosacea and provided a prescription. The whole thing took about 5 minutes but it didn’t feel rushed. Overall it was a good experience and I will continue to see him for any skin concerns. I do wish the prescriptions would be sent electronically to the pharmacy but I can deal with paper prescriptions.

The only thing I don’t like is the appointment system. You have to call and leave a message to make an appointment and then they will call back and schedule. I would rather call and have someone answer so I can make an appointment immediately as I may not be available when they call back. It would cut down on the back and forth.“

“From check in to check out the team at BSW Richardson are 5 star ALL THE WAY!!! Sarah Higginbotham and her assistant Lucy are extremely thorough, easy to talk with about personal things going on and extremely efficient. I never have to wait during my appointment or wait for my prescriptions and it’s easy to make appointments as well. The only reason I would leave BSW Richardson would be to follow these folks!! 100%“
