Ross and the team were amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable plumbers who fixed our kitchen sink drain issue the right way. We had been dealing with sink problems for a long time, and this last backup would not clear with our usual quick fix. The drain stayed clogged, so we called a plumber and are very glad we did. The crew was professional, easy to talk to, and took time to explain what was causing the problem. Under the kitchen sink, the drain line had a strange tight bend that kept slowing the flow and catching debris. It looked like a previous DIY plumbing repair had been done by an earlier homeowner, and it never drained correctly after that. Ross replaced the bad piping under the sink and set up the drain plumbing in a much better way. Now the sink drains fast, the flow is smooth, and everything works better than ever. We also feel much better knowing the pipes under the sink are secure and less likely to leak. In the Texas heat, it is great to have plumbing working properly without constant trouble. We had been without water after a major plumbing problem, and because so many people needed pipe repair it took a little while before Derek & Sons Plumbing Llc could get a crew to us in Montgomery. geoffrey, nolan, and ross arrived late in the afternoon and promised we would have running water before they left. They worked well into the evening, checking valves, repairing broken pipes, and making sure every unit in our condo building had water service restored. nolan and ross kept working without slowing down, and geoffrey also checked in to be sure everything was handled the right way. Their main focus was getting our water back on safely and making sure the plumbing system was working properly. i cannot recommend them enough, and they are the only plumbing team i will use and suggest to others because they showed real care, strong effort, and excellent service.
Do yourself a favor and call Derek & Sons Plumbing Llc first. My kitchen sink drain line has a trouble spot because there are too many bends and fittings about 15-20 feet down the pipe, so clearing the line has become a regular plumbing service for me. After trying another plumber before and feeling unsure about the pricing, I decided to call them instead. The pricing was fair, the work was solid, and Landon took time to explain a few things I had not thought about. He used a larger drain snake than the last plumber to do a more complete drain cleaning and really work through the clog. The whole visit felt honest, helpful, and professional.
