Direct Orthopedic Care offers immediate, affordable treatment of all minor to urgent orthopedic injuries, as well as care for chronic joint and osteoarthritis conditions. The staff and doctors are amazing, warm, and caring, making jokes and laughing with patients. They offer multiple options for care and treatment and work with schedules to get patients in when available. The team is courteous, helpful, and gets straight to business. Patients are taken straight back to a comfortable and non intimidating X-ray room, then straight to the doctor’s room, who enters promptly. The group is easy to talk to, very empathetic, and asks appropriate questions. Each staff member listens without rushing or speaking for the patient. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and compassionate. The staff ensures patients are comfortable, walks them through everything, and explains what they are doing and the plan of action. Appointments are made very quickly. Patients feel respected, given time and friendliness. The experience is wonderful, and patients feel much better after care.
I showed up without an appointment as a walk-in on a Monday at 3:45. They got me back for x-rays And I met the physician assistant trainee who did a very thorough inspection of my Sprained Angle. Then the PA came in and reviewed my x-rays with me. Did a quick ultrasound was able to tell me the tear that I had without having to expose me to going to get an MRI. Gave me a shot of pain medication and a boot to wear. I have just left and it is now 5:45. If I would’ve gone to the emergency room, I would’ve been there for probably over five hours! I am so thankful for the care that I received today and I would absolutely recommend them and go back.
So impressed with my visit. I thought I may have broken a bone in my foot. They took about 10 x-rays and they came up clear. But the doc there said he wanted to try a ultrasound next just to confirm and sure enough the ultrasound showed the break. I'm really glad he didn't just trust the X-rays like most doctors would and went the extra step. I also had a good laugh with Daijah about how I broke my foot. Everyone was very human and extremely nice. Even Kevin at the front desk was awesome. He let me stay seated and would bring the paperwork to me and I didn't have to do much of anything. This is absolutely a good choice if you're needing orthopedic work
I had the best experience! Went in with really bad joint pain but it was handled very well. From the front desk staff and nurses to the specialist, everyone was extremely gentle, kind, empathetic, and understanding.
