“I actually obtain my newest addition, Enzo, from Kris. He had a number of puppies. He really took care of Enzo making sure he was healthy and happy. Since I had an 8 year out pittie mix, Ivy, I wanted to make sure they got along before I took Enzo home. He recommended I bring Ivy down to meet him. I immediately liked how he wanted to make sure they would work out together before I added him to my family. Since I needed training, I have purchased two - 2 hour individual training sessions with Kris at my residence. Kris is very knowledgeable. He works with you and your dog. As everyone knows it is the owner not the dog that needs the most training. Kris is very patient showing you the most effective way to have the positive outcome. He addresses your concerns. I have had multiple trainers over the years of having dogs. I really like his approach. I would recommend Canine Moxie for yourself and your dogs.“
“Madame Moxie is the only groomer I will take my Sally to. She may not do house calls anymore but the quality of her work is worth the drive to South Austin. Knowing that while my girl is with Madame that she will be treated like she is Madame’s own cat gives me peace of mind. As long as I am in the Austin area and Madame is too she will be the only groomer for my long haired baby.“

“Everyone here is super sweet and nice, and made my boyfriend, our kitty, and me feel very welcome. They explained what they were doing and why, and everything was quick, easy and professional! Our cat was spoiled on the exam table with treats and had a great time.They didn't, however, tell us anything about cost while we were there. I paid the $75 deposit for the exam, and when we showed up they gave our cat a vaccination and gave us a cup for a poop sample to bring back and sent us on our way, no mention of cost. So I just assumed that the $75 was for everything. The next day I got an invoice for $120, and was very alarmed. My boyfriend and I are not the most well off, so I called and asked if I could have a receipt because I didn't know what any of it was for. The nice lady that answered told me that $40 was for the vaccine and $80 was for the poop cup. I said I had no idea and wouldn't have taken the poop cup if I known. Luckily she got it taken care of quick and taken off the bill, but I still found it very strange that I wasn't told any of that during the exam, or told that I had an option.I'll be returning but I'll definitely double check everything next time!“

“Liza and her staff are amazing with our Big Boy JJ. He is a 115 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback. We have been taking our sweet baby to D Pet since he was a pup. When we enter the parking lot of D Pet, JJ begins to whine with excitement. He can't wait to get to the playroom and I always laugh to see him dragging the staff member down the hall as he races to get let in. The staff is the best we have ever encountered for pet care!“

“Jenn at the groomer took care of my little dog today. My dog had an injury a long time ago, which makes me feel extra protective of her little body. Jenn was attentive, speedy, careful with the location of her injury. She got one of her teammates to calm my dog while they worked diligently. Equally important Jenn did NOT make me feel like I was being extra by being an over protective dog mom. She was authentic and would give me time updates even though I wasn't in a hurry, but it was youthful. Her teammate walked out and complimented Jenn too (it's great when you draw compliments from your coworkers, says a lot about Jenn as a person). Her work was perfect, my dog looks great. Jenn made a billing error, and got her manager to correct it. She called it out herself, and saved us $$. Wow, what an amazing human Petco got lucky with! Integrity, kindness, skilled My little one and I left very happy thanks to Jenn and the entire experience we had with her. Sidenote...I hate pet stores and anyone who thinks it's okay to cage birds, ferrets, snakes, or to cage anything, specially for profit. I saw beautiful animals there in small cages, who I imagine don't get to feel the warmth of the sun with the same freedom we do.“
