Off Leash Obedience, a dog training school established in 2010, provides certified professional dog training for basic obedience, service dog tasks, and behavior challenges for dogs and puppies. The school's expert trainers, including Tori, have helped many dog owners see significant improvements in their pets' behavior. This includes achieving off-leash walking, successful potty training, and managing anxiety and bad behaviors. With patience, kindness, and a genuine care for the dogs, the trainers have gained the trust and admiration of both dogs and their owners. The school's unique "education vacation" program has proven effective, as many owners report marked improvements in their dogs’ manners. Regular home visits have also been beneficial, allowing trainers to work closely with families. Additionally, owners have appreciated the communication from trainers, including updates and photos during boarding. Tori is a masterful dog trainer. She cares about animals and teaches with patience, not just our dog but with me too. I was nervous about leaving our 8 month old puppy, but Tori assured me that she would be well taken care of and our dog behavior would drastically improve. And she was right! Tori was able to break the bad behaviors we had inadvertently taught our dog and show me how to reinforce positive behaviors that will last forever. Tori did a great job of letting us know things were progressing and that our dog was happy. It's been eye-opening and life changing. Thank you Tori!
In just a couple of weeks our dog went from biting everything and everyone to knowing several commands. We are able to use those to curb his nipping. The kids would cry and cry and be paralyzed on the couch for fear of getting bit and now they’ve learned to give commands and positive reinforcement to our puppy. It was a night and day difference in just a couple of weeks. We’re so grateful!
As many of you know, I met Tori when we figured out we were in over our heads with Hunter, my first cocker spaniel. After losing him to a sudden, premature death, we soon adopted 2 other cockers and then founded Gulf Coast Cocker Spaniel Rescue. There are many dogs in our program who are success stories due to Tori's intervention, and we couldn't be more grateful to her for that. Dog training is not a one size fits all scenario. Something that works with one may not work with another. And the same is true of the people she's training along the way (if anyone thinks this is all about training the dog, you're sorely mistaken). ;-) Tori's keen ability to assess each situation and come up with a viable solution for all involved is truly a gift. So happy to have known her all these years, and to see all the 'happy tails' take shape as a result of her talent and involvement with our program. THANK YOU!
