Whitney and the ladies of Her Growing Hands have been taking care of our crew since March. Every three months a group of eight of us make the journey from Oklahoma to Texas and let me tell you, IT IS WELL WORTH IT!!This is more than a salon, they are tapping into a niche of natural hair care that is both educational and necessary, especially for women of color. Ashely Be was so informative and gentle with my hair. I learned what my hair needed and how to take care of it moving forward. I was interested in being consistent at this salon and Ashley sealed the deal for me. She played good relaxing music as she did my hair and the ambiance was just perfect. It was also very clean. My hair felt so healthy and I am excited to see how my hair does on this journey.
