Instead, she’s offered helpful advice, taught me how to better care for my hair, and met me with kindness every single time.

One of my more memorable moments was when I decided to cut twelve inches off my own hair before an appointment with her. When I showed up, she laughed with me, rolled with it, and somehow still gave me an absolutely beautiful haircut.
