I always have a hard time explaining what I want but she understood my vision with just a couple of pictures. She was not afraid of spending extra time cuz of my thicker hair. “I was visiting Plano this past week and wanted a blowout, so I looked up salons running blowout specials. This one advertised a $45 happy hour blowout, which is what brought me in.

When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and my stylist was very friendly, offering me a laptop table to work on. During the consultation, she let me know that because I have long hair, it would be an extra $15, even though the website listed the happy hour special at a flat $45 (regular blowouts range $45-70). Then she mentioned that using a curling iron for more of a curl would be another $10. I kindly declined, since what started as a $45 special was quickly climbing in price.
She washed my hair and did an okay job with styling, some pieces came out nicely curled, while others were straight. When I asked if she could put front piece in a roller because it didn’t curl, I was told that it would also cost extra. She seemed to be rushing towards my last few pieces since she had another client after me.

Overall, my stylist was kind and gave a great wash, but between the upcharges beyond the advertised special and the uneven finish, I probably wouldn't return.

The salon reached out directly and we were able to reach a resolution. I appreciate them taking the feedback seriously and following up personally. Overall, I appreciate the responsiveness and the resolution, and I'm adjusting my rating to reflect that. :)“
