CityVet | South Hulen Pet Boarding Training

“My baby had his first visit here yesterday. The staff was so amazing and was willing to see him SAME DAY. A different local vet clinic laughed when I requested to get my baby seen ASAP. Everyone was so kind to him, gentle, upfront about costs, and demonstrated genuine concern for what I had to say. Nothing felt rushed. Very fair pricing, $69 office visit, and medication was similarly priced to other vets. Absolutely will be returning for vaccines! Thank you guys for all you do!“

“Training at Zoom Room has helped our timid and (overly) reactive puppy become calmer around other dogs, less fearful of new experiences, and build his confidence. We’ve learned lots of helpful tips and feel confident Chip is going to grow up in to a “good citizen” (once the puppy stage is over ;).“

“After my vet retired suddenly, I was in a panic. I found Mellina online and easily booked an appointment. They are great communicaters and made me feel good about choosing them. They have a really nice set up and the staff is incredible. They took my dog to another room for her shots etc, which I appreciated because it stresses me out to see her stressed. ? If you're a high-strung dog guardian with spoiled loved ones, Don't waste any more time searching and just book with Mellina. (I saw Dr. Kelleher and tech Corey.)“

“My Molly has never felt more comfortable at a groomer before! I know this because each time after coming back from previous grooming places she would always shake some on the way home and up to a few days following. I thought mostly she was cold as she had less hair for warmth, and maybe itching was just because of the process but my little girl has never shaken after coming here. When I pick her up, she’s just herself. She’s not shaking or itching. I’m so relieved that we were advised of MPP because it’s been so nice not having to worry about my Molly, knowing that she isn’t traumatized by the experience.
I’ve always been pleased with the staff here, and have had no issues.
The only negatives for me are sometimes it takes longer than I’m used to for her grooming. Our previous groomers had her done within 1.5-2 hours. There have been a few times they’ve had her done that quickly here, but most of the time it takes 4 hours on average & the cut itself is alright. Sometimes I like the cut and sometimes it’s not what I was particularly wanting. I’m not super picky but somewhat picky, more so about how my Mollys face is shaped per the groom but what’s most important is my Mollys comfort level. If it takes longer or the haircut isn’t the most consistent then I’m okay with that knowing that she isn’t being traumatized.
I also appreciate how it’s been easy to schedule her appointments.
The price of the groom has been consistent with others in the area, either slightly more affordable here or the same as elsewhere.
Molly is a shih tzu, and here it’s $65 plus 8.25% tax. There is a 4% card fee if using a card so cash will be cheaper.
Overall, I love MPP and recommend giving them a try!“

3201 Cleburne Rd, Fort Worth
Southside Veterinary Clinic Pet Boarding Training

“We love this clinic and staff so much! We've been taking our chihuahua mix and beagle here for the past few years. We used to live close by (about 15mins away), but even since moving to Eagle Mountain lake area, we still make the drive about 30mins away to keep the girls where we know and trust. Because my husband works nights and my schedule is so crazy, having the ability to walk in for an appointment vs scheduling is SO helpful. Not to mention, if anything urgent comes up, we are able to get in quickly. The staff knows our dogs by name, and can always recognize my husband's voice when he calls for refills or scheduling. The front desk worker is so amazing!! She has NEVER complained about having to call in refills to our CVS for our old girl, despite CVS being notorious for having a long wait time. Both of our girls are getting older (which means more issues and meds), but I've always felt confident in the care they get (this coming from someone who was a prior vet tech). It's not the fanciest clinic in the world, but the staff are caring and our doggos have always been well taken care of (which matters WAY more to me than all of the fancy stuff). Reasonable prices and a caring team, so I can't recommend them enough!“

Robert Rickords, D.V.M. Pet Boarding Training

“My dog tore both of his ACLs and had surgery here a year ago. The prices were very affordable compared to other places, and Dr. Rickords was so kind throughout the whole process. My dog Apollo is actually happy to go to the vet, he doesn’t shake or get scared at all. Dr. Rickords walked us through the entire procedure and recovery, which was so comforting and made me feel like they truly care about my pup, not just the money. When Apollo had a bad reaction to his stitches, I called, and they told us to come in right away, no stress, no judgment. He’s now thriving, running, and playing again!

We also brought our other dog, Mack, here. Sadly, his body wasn’t producing red blood cells (which they caught), and we had to put him down. We were devastated, but the team was so compassionate the tech even got teary eyed with us. They even sent a card sending their condolences that everyone signed. It meant so much to see how much they care.

Apollo is reactive to big dogs, and they always let us come through the back door and call us when it’s clear to bring him in. They truly go above and beyond.

Even with our 17-year-old cat, they completely understand that she’s an inside–outside cat and don’t lecture us like most vets do, they just work with her and with us.

I bring all of my animals here and don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else unless it’s an emergency. They’re truly the best from the front desk, techs, and vets!“

“Morgan and Heather were amazing. I brought a kitten in that had a fish hook stuck in her leg and paw. I was doing deliveries for the Tarrant County, Food Bank and found this kitten in a neighborhood I was delivering in, the poor dear was crying for help in a creek behind a trailer park. My best friend arrived before I did to let them know what was going on. Everyone acted fast , I placed the kitten into a loving arms, not sure who she was but part of the team at this wonderful vet office, they whisked her away to safety and were able to safely remove the fish hook by clipping it. The doctor visit was $66, the anabiotic‘s was around $36, and the pain medicine I think was $18 or maybe I have those two prices flipped… But either way it was a fantastic first time experience.“
