“Girard Gagliardi of Emerald Roofing refuses to come replace the shingles that he put on my shed in November of 2020. 2 shingles fell off in March of this year. I told him initially I could be patient and could wait since the missing shingles didn't cause any leaks, but now 6 months later, nothing has been done. Patience does not mean waiting forever! He's been coming up with every excuse in the book to delay coming out. He's even said he was coming a couple of times and on his way once, then cancelled at the last minute (I'm beginning to doubt if he had any intensions of coming out at all), and now today he says it was out of the 'goodness of his heart' to come out (even after I offered him $100 for gas money) and now wants to charge me $700 to do the warranty work! I have a 5 year warranty! The GAF people have already provided the shingles, but Girard from Emerald Roofing is being a total jxxk! I initially hired him when he was replacing the shingles on the roof 2 doors down from me in Magnolia. Little did I know that any repair work was just way too far for him to drive! Do NOT use Emerald Roofing!!!“

I love my new spaces!!! Everything turned out beautiful! I had water damage and had to repair my laundry room, hall and kitchen. Since my original cabinets were not in very good condition, I remodeled everything from the ground up and I was able to make upgrades and changes. My research connected me to Manns Carpentry. Seeing his finished work online (both Google and Facebook) really helped. When I met him, he was very nice, listened well, and was open to discussion. In planning, he had the patience to review any option I presented, and this helped me narrow down my choices. At one point, something didn't turn out as expected, and Mr. Manns had no trouble changing it to meet my needs. However, most parts of the remodel turned out BETTER than I imagined. I have been living with my new spaces for over 3 months, and I am sure I made the right choice. Now, it is so much better quality than my original. All the tradesmen/companies he utilized were friendly and professional. Everyone arrived when they said they would, and his timeline (plan) and quote was accurate. I would definitely recommend Manns Carpentry to anyone looking to make repairs big or small.“

“We are building a new home and starting demo in February. We've been looking around at different tile places to keep in mind and came across this shop.

The store was so immaculate, there were four associates, and my wife and I were welcomed in with hellos and smiles. Cressa asked us about our project and we let her know about our time frame and she didn't pressure us instead let us know she'd come back and check in on us. When we got to wood look another associate Haley asked us were we finding everything ok? My wife let her know about our future home and we aren't ready to make decisions yet.

She then responded thats ok we can still pull things for you if youd like. She then mentioned they can help with design consultations and visualizers to help make it easier.

Even with those two associates we still were greated by two others didn't get their names.
But wow the customer service in this tile store is worth just going and the unique tile at fair pricing is so well worth going back to in a couple of months.“

“I have to start this review by admitting that I am a nervous wreck when it comes to work done on our house in general. As first-time remodelers, that feeling was amplified ten-fold. However, I am grateful we found Dean and the team at DMV.

We initially got in touch with Dean in April of this year. We had talked to a couple other companies before speaking with Dean, but did not feel we were on the same page with the other folks. Dean made us feel heard and understood, and his reviews of past work were indisputable, so we knew he was our guy!

We had an idea of the colors and finishes we wanted to use, but Dean made great recommendations for items such as more cost-effective tile alternatives from his supplier, countertop and custom vanity ideas, as well as a more practical layout for our previously awkwardly spaced bathroom.

After receiving the final estimate and a very impressive 3D design concept, the demo began late June. This was the part I was most nervous about, but the demo process was shockingly clean - Jonny arrived early with a tow-away dumpster trailer and to install plastic barriers, and by the end of the day our bathroom was a blank slate!

Watching Dean’s folks rebuild the bathroom over the next 13 weeks was fascinating to me, and I am sure I drove everybody a little nutty with my questions and peeks into the progress. But the entire crew was respectful, accommodating, and clearly masters at their craft. It was a relieving feeling to know I could take my hands off the wheel and “trust the process,” as Dean likes to say. Big shout-out to Jonny, Scott, Victor, Cody, Brian, Lee, and the rest of the crew!

There were unexpected delays with cabinetry, and then glass hardware, but Dean and team worked efficiently to restore usefulness of our bathroom before the project was fully-wrapped. Toward the end of reconstruction, we had an unexpected plumbing drain line issue. I texted Dean at 6:00 am. By 8:00 am, Lee (plumber) arrived on the scene to fix the minor issue, and you would never know anything happened. I was very grateful for their professionalism and responsiveness, and proof that they will make any problem right!

We were so impressed with early progress on the bathroom that we contracted Dean for some sorely needed kitchen updates. We were on a strict budget, and Dean made targeted recommendations in the kitchen to maximize our return. WOW did it make an impact! I sent photos of the new kitchen to the previous homeowner and they didn’t even recognize it was their old house.

Our family is very grateful for our reimagined spaces, and ready to thoroughly enjoy them. Thank you again Dean and DMV crew!“
